Happy Spaces and Happy Places

How community and corporate culture affects our happiness.

Do you love where you live? Can you unequivocally say YES?  It’s important that you can say YES with enthusiasm!

I live in a wonderful part of the world with unparalleled access to the outdoors. Incredibly (short) stunning summers with wildflowers, rivers, trails, and stars.  It’s a small community so we don’t have all of the amenities of larger towns and I’m ok with that.  I travel enough to fill my bucket in other places and I’m unapologetic about what my community doesn’t offer.  My community checks so many boxes for me, thankfully and that makes me HAPPY!  The science behind the happiness our communities give us is incredible and where we live is possibly the most important choice we make.

And choosing where you work is almost equally important.  It’s not just the type of work you do that makes us happy but also who we work with each day.

Let’s walk through what the happiest places and work spaces have in common and create a path forward for you to find the right places or make the place you call work and home elicit more satisfaction.  When your employees find the right work space and the right community you’re on a path to keeping them as employees and keeping them happy.

Participants will:

  1. Understand the common characteristics of the happiest places on this little planet of ours
  2. Have tools to evaluate their community and workplaces
  3. Develop a personalized action plan for their community and workplaces
