Creativity, Novelty and Growth

The link between adaptable, flexible and resilient is hilarious.

I love this quote from Albert Einstein. “Creativity is intelligence having fun.”

I find myself happiest when I’m creating, and whether I’m tweaking a presentation for a keynote or writing a blog that makes me laugh or cry – that’s me – in my flow state.  My creativity coming forth, using my gifts, strengths, values and talents in service to others

The latter part in bold being REALLY important.  Doing something for the sake of doing it makes us happy.  If you love to paint, play music or sports or cook do it because you it makes you happy, not because you want to be happy doing it.  Wait, what? Losing track of time and being “focused” and happy is satisfying. Doing these activities to expect happiness, as a result, is a trap.  Do whatever makes you happy without the expectation and get lost in those moments of flow – defined as “focused as happy”.

Now, when we offer these gifts in service to others….BOOM!  Magic happens.  Being of service to others doesn’t mean suffering.  I LOVE hosting workshops, public speaking, emceeing and keynotes.  I have found my purpose and it feels GOOD!

What’s your purpose?

Do you know your strengths and values?

Do you use them in service to others in your work?

We’ll explore all of this in a fun, fast and high-energy presentation.

Participants will:

  1.     Understand flow state and how to achieve flow in work and play
  2.     Understand their personal strengths and values
  3.     Evaluate the work and the alignment between their strengths and values to create more fulfillling work.
